Do you listen to podcasts? If so, you might be interested in Loud in the Library, a new podcast by FHPS district teacher librarians Chris Patrick and Tracy Chrenka.

The podcast will be published on the 15th of each month during the school year and will feature an interview with a different author or illustrator during each episode. The podcast will also contain other information regarding books, reading, and literacy.

You can find the current episode as well as future podcasts athttp://loudinthelibrary.com/

You can also subscribe to the podcast in the iTunes library. And it will soon be available in the Google Play store.

April is National Poetry Month.  In celebration, try something new. Log on to poets.org, check out 30 Ways to Celebrate, listen to poetry read aloud, participate in the Dear Poet Project, or become a Poet Warrior. There are so many ways to appreciate the art of poetry this month and every month.
